Starbucks is planning to expand into Holland, starting with Amsterdam. Starbucks will open locations on all major railway stations in collaboration with the Dutch Railway Company (NS). This first location is planned to open in spring 2009 at Amsterdam Central Station! Talks are still underway about how many locations will be opened, but they will at least open on all major dutch railway stations.
So that’s good news. Finally Starbucks is entering the dutch market. Right now only at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, but actually in Amsterdam starting 2009! I will be one of the first in line to get a chai tea latte and a muffin
