After the big nachos at the Hard Rock Cafe, we decided we needed a coffee to stay awake after all that food. It was a stiff walk through all the shopping streets from Leidseplein to Waterlooplein, where we descended on the terrace of Puccini. Now Puccini is also a bonbon store with hand-made bonbons, but they also have a lunch place next to it.
Once installed on the terrace I waved down the waitress, cause I didn’t feel like waiting long. I needed that coffee! I ordered a latte and a glass of water and my friend the same. Now you can also have wonderfull sandwiches and cakes here, but we were stuffed from the nachos, so nothing to eat for us.
The coffees took a bit long in waiting, but it is a nice place for waiting. The terrace is right on the street, so you can watch the people go by on bike and on foot. And also a lot of tourists come this way, because of the market on Waterlooplein, so it’s a fun place to sit. About 10 minutes later the coffees came. Just in time otherwise we might have fallen asleep!
A nice place to sit to have lunch or a coffee, but don’t expect the fastest service.
