Restaurant PompaOk, after being snubbed at Bagels & Beans, we went around the corner to a place called Pompa. It’s a kind of mediterranean restaurant with pasta’s and stuff, but since we just had a snack, we only checked out the tapas menu. The girl who came to take our order was very friendly. Since we hadn’t decided on the tapa yet, we just ordered some drinks, which arrived too soon to have made up our mind about the tapa ;-)

So a little later a very unfriendly elderly, we guess italian, gentleman, inquired about what we wanted to eat. Our order of some tapas didn’t not please him too much, because he left with even a worse mood then he came. A little later the girl came back with some plates and utensils, asking us if we had ordered the pasta. We told her that it was probably the blond girls further down and that we had ordered some tapas. So much for internal communication.

The girl took the plates to the other table and then came back with plates for us and some complementary bread. The bread was your standard turkish bread and the aioli that came with it tasted like it came from a jar. Actually like the same aioli I bought at the supermarket the other day!

Later the tapas arrived, they were tasty enough, but as usual adapted to the Dutch market. When the tapas and the rain were finished we asked for the bill and left.
