The College Hotel just off the Museumplein is a hotel run by students. It’s a trainingschool for them to put in practice what they have learned. Besides being a hotel it has a restaurant and a bar. Today we decided to go for a drink here 
The decor of the bar of the College hotel is rather posh, it a bit asian classic I would say. We managed to find a seat, most places were taken, and took a look at the drinks menu. You can have different things here ranging from coffee to wine to a glass of champagne or a cocktail. It took a while before the waitress came to take our order, but she was very nice and correct and we even got a complemetary bowl of peanuts
First I took a cafe latte and for the second round I took a cocktail. The latte was alright and at drinkable temperature when it arrived. I don’t know if that was intentional or because it took so long to get to us. The cocktail was fabulous though. It was something creative with chocolate sauce. Chocolate is always good!
A nice posh place to come, the service is good and they pay attention to detail, but that costs them a little in speed. The crowd can be a little wanna-be though, so you have to be immune to that
