This is a shining example of how a restaurant is to operate in a customer oriented manner. Alfonso’s is a typical mexican restaurant, although the owner doesn’t look very mexican. But the service is great.
When we arrived all tables we occupied so we had to wait at the bar for about fifteen minutes. We then got a table and with the menu some complementary tortilla chips and salsa. The waitress took our drinks order immediately which arrived soon after. We ordered our meal when the drinks arrived.
The starter wasn’t long in waiting and after we finished it there was a decent amount of time till the main course arrived. During the main course the waitress checked on us if everything was okay, which it was. Although the food was too much and we had to skip desert and go straight for the bill and a goodnight on the way out.
So a good restaurant in the Utrechtsestraat not too expensive and with excellent service.
