Near the end of the Overtoom, where once a Bagels & Beans ripp-off used to open its doors, a new concept has arisen, Toasty! The menu consist of all different kinds of toasted sandwiches and some salads. But the things put on the sandwiches are very original.
We visited Toasty only two days after it opened, so the owner was still having a test run as he called it. He was still trying everything out to see what sandwiches were popular and would end up on the menu and at the time he did not have all the ingredients for all the sandwiches yet either. We decided to help him and ordered three sandwiches for inspection.
All of them tasted very good, so if this was only yhe trial it promises to be great. Also the coffee we had tasted fine, no problems there either. Because we helped the owner test his sandwiches we got some free coffee from him 
Another great addition to Amsterdam. The owner is very friendly and the service was great. And the original toasted sandwiches will surely take us back someday.
