In the last years there has been an explosion of Wok places in Amsterdam. Places where you pick the fresh ingredients for your wok dish and then the stuff is cooked in a wok right in front of you. The one with the most locations is probably Wok to Walk. Their locations are the most busy and after waiting for half an hour at their location in Leidsestraat once, I vowed never to go back that location again. A friend of mine introduced me to Wok to Home close to the Spui. It’s a small place and their selection is more limited, but it’s more quiet than Wok to Walk and the people there are very friendly and quick. Let’s hope it stays quiet now the secret is out
