To end the birthday lunch we decided to go to Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky and have a coffee there in the little lobby cafe that looks out over Dam square. It being a 5 star hotel everything is rather posh, but that didn’t deter us ;-) As you can expect for a 5 stars hotel service was up to standard. We got our coffees on a nice decorated tray which had, besides the sugar and chocolate coffee beans, some nice little sweet treats on it. The only minus point was that the foot of my coffee glas was chipped. I would expect a 5 star hotel would pay attention to such details ;-) Find other Amsterdam Hotels here.
