After getting detoxed with wheat grass, we went for a birthday lunch at Oriental City. Oriental City is a huge chinese restaurant behind Dam square with a special dim sum card for lunch. It’s on a corner of one of the busy streets of Amsterdam, so if you have a table by the window, you have lots to occupy yourself with if you don’t want to talk to your table partner 
We ordered some dim sum and some steamed oasters, it was a birthday lunch after all. For dessert I can recommend the spungecake :-) The service was friendly and quick as it should be. The dim sum are served as soon as they are ready. The waitress comes with a big trolley and goes past the tables to deliver them. Very smartly they mark the plates and baskets with clothing pins with the table numbers on them, so they know which dim sum goes where. This looked a lot more hygenic than the way they stuck the papers with table numbers on the sushi at Tokyo Cafe. The dim sum were delicious! So I have nothing really to complain about here. Another recommendation!
