Today while waiting for a train, we decided to go grab a quick bite at the Burger King. Everything else was closed at the station (and that is half past eight in the evening in Amsterdam!). We decided to go healthy and take the chickenwraps. There was nothing wrong with the wraps, they were quite tasty. It just took forever to get them.
There were about 20 teenagers behind the counter and in the kitchen and 2 wanna-be managers walking around, but what they were doing I don’t know. First of all the girl that took our order, I estimate she was about sixteen, looked completely stoned. She moved about like a she didn’t have a care in the world or had any customers waiting. And while we were waiting the guy that came after us, also seemed to be ordering very slow. Maybe there is some strange temporal phenomenon at the Burger King we weren’t affected by. Anyway our wraps were finally finished, so the girl handed them over and wished us a pleasant meal. Well what she lacked in speed, she made up in good manners.
